How Dufry Uses Quividi to Enhance Communication along the In-Store Shopper Journey

Background

Telefonica On The Spot is the leading digital signage company in Spain and Latin America. They’ve been working with Dufry Group, the world’s leading travel retailer to digitize their stores in airports, starting with a pilot project in Spain at Madrid’s international airport. 

Objectives

In 2020, Telefonica On The Spot chose Quividi technology to understand the performance of Dufry’s in-store screens, establish audience personas and optimize the communication to drive engagement and sales. 

Results

The Quividi data expert team gathered and analyzed real-time data to create a model mixing audience, content and screen metrics with third parties datasets (traffic, sales, shopper profile and flight schedules).

With that model, Dufry understood the content types that engage best with each shopper profile on each screen and, thus, was able to drive incremental retail sales.
