HOW DUFRY AND TELEFONICA ON THE SPOT USE QUIVIDI TO DRIVE SHOPPER BEHAVIOR

Telefonica On The Spot is the leading digital signage company in Spain and Latin America. They’ve been working with Dufry Group, the world’s leading travel retailer to digitize their stores in airports, starting with a pilot project in Spain at Madrid’s international airport.
In 2020, Telefonica On The Spot chose Quividi technology to understand the performance of Dufry’s in-store screens, establish audience personas and optimize the communication to drive engagement and sales.
The Quividi data expert team gathered and analyzed real time data for three months and created a model mixing audience, content and screen metrics to third parties datasets (traffic, sales, shopers profile and flight schedules).
As a result, Quividi was able to understand shoppers behaviors in reaction to the digital signage communication and to drive key business insights to Telefonica on the Spot and the Dufry marketing team, as well as some recommendations for their next digital signage campaigns in the field of travel retail and airports.
